There are two buttons on the bottom left part of the article filter form, which perform tests on the article data based on the entered patterns without really processing the data. They are labeled:
• Test patterns and
• Test articles.
Please use their functionality to see the result from your currently entered patters. Like this you can easily see if the page node texts and/or the article numbers in your database are correctly manipulated by your current patters so that a matching of article numbers can be made. Don't forget that the purpose of this form is in helping the Clickcat software to match text nodes on pages with article numbers in your database so that these text nodes are converted into hyperlinks to the respective article records in the database. This will enable users of your catalog in CDF format, in HTML and/or in Flash to use these article numbers as links for furtherprocessing.
