You do NOT NEED any Adobe software to operate our software. The Clickcat-Producer reads native PDF files directly.
However, alternatively to this you can tell our software to use the Adobe Acrobat API instead for reading PDF files. This is just another form of interpreting PDF files, which in rare cases can produce different or better results than reading PDF files directly. You need an installed version of the full Adobe Acrobat software to use this feature. The free Acrobat Reader software is not sufficient. Still, in most cases using the API will not be needed.
