Our CDF technology is considerably older then the well-known PDF from the company Adobe. CDF is based on ideas and concepts, which were first defined in 1987 by the author and spiritual father, Heinz-Geerd Neumann.
The development of the first CDF version began in early 1991. The first public presentation of a product took place in January 1993.
This proves that the CDF format and our electronic product catalog are both considerably older than Adobe Acrobat PDF.
