To be able to really use all the functionalities of this and the underlying character substitution fonts the original fonts must be installed on your PC. If this is not the case there will be some functionalities, which cannot be used (such as displaying the characters, which are to be replaced).

In the font substitution form you can replace a selected font by another font in the top part . The central table, which takes up most of this form, informs you about single characters of the selected original font, which are to be substituted by other characters from the same or another font. This is done in the character substitution form.
In the left column you see the name of the original character as imported from the PDF file. In the second column from the left you see the name of the character which replaces the imported character. In the third column you see a "x" if there is a character stored for the substitution font.
